British made Thai beret...does anyone know the era?

    Hi
I posted this beret in the International section:
    http://www.wehrmacht-awards.net/foru...ad.php?t=92310

I'm sure it's from Thailand/Siam but I'm wondering if anyone recognizes the time period it might be from. It was made in England, is anyone familiar with this company or when this style/materials might have been used?

Hi Eric, sorry they are not a maker I am familiar with, bearing in mind that my subject is WW2. But I do see "modern" stuff for sale in surplus shops. Berets can still be found with screen printed maker markings similar to these. Judging from the sweatband and material I would guess this was produced sometime in the past 30 years. Not a lot of help I know, sorry.

    Cheers, Ade.
