RAF sidecap Free French reused ?

Hello, i found this sidecap today. Looks to be british (square red ? stamp) lining etc. But reused in French air force. It is a good ww2 model ? Post war reused by french air force or good ww2 ? Is the color french or RAF ? Looks more French but redyed ? Thank you for help.

It looks like an Australian made side cap ?
French Air Forces used a lot of them , period and ...post war .
