My brother was given this helmet by an elderly woman whose husband served in the Navy when he was young. There is no information concerning where it was obtained. It has no nut or rivet in the crown like an American or British helmet. There are several metal straps inside the helmet and what seems to be a medical cross painted on the front. Has anyone seen anything like this before?
