The stripes look odd? Is this Tunic Original?

is that a good one? or a phoney?

    Thanks

It's a 60'/70s era highland pattern tunic. Though plausible, I would've thought he'd have been a bit more than Sergeant - and have at least one bar to his Efficiency Medal (more realistically two). I also thought the London Scottish wore collar dogs - and most certainly not No.2 trousers! Marc Sherriff is the cookie for this, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

It is a "modern" No.2 dress tunic and the stripes are correct for it. The ribbons will have been added I suspect in order to make a sale...

      Cheers, Ade.

Do the London Scots wear No. 2 trousers, I would'nt have thought so.

They're around nowadays as a company of the reborn London Regiment & as assorted members of the HQ Coy.
This jacket has'nt got the shield of London arm badge that the regiment wears nowadys.

I thought that they wore either kilts or trews?

I know a South African bloke who used to be a major in the London Scottish up until recently.

They wear Hodden Grey kilts with their No.2s, as they're a highland 'regiment' - or what's left of it.
