hi everyone.i have recently purchased a ww2 royal navy watch. stamped on the reverse is r.n. s.d. hood 15/10/43 would it be possible to find out the previous owners royal navy service record.?

You will struggle to get anywehere with just that information. You need service number and you would need to provide death certificate as you are not a relative. Also a fee of £30 is payable.
