Brown Bess Flintlock - Any Real Parts?

Hi,
I was wondering if this Brown Bess may have been put together with some original parts on it? I have never seen a reproduction barrel with regimental markings on it. The stock also has some worm holes in it, which can indicate age. If anyone has any opinions on this rifle's authenticity, please let me know. The barrel measures 38."
Thanks,

Hmm very close to the 1970 italian new made item that has been aged
Check the barrle to see it the 'Made in Italy', maker marking, and serial # have been rubbed out or the barrle changed.
Rare to get an orginal without all sots of ordinace marks erc. I do not like the Gaurds part on the but never seen that before.

Repro. made fior the reenactor market. The flash guard is a dead giveaway. At least one Indian company is making the 'Grice' locks and thos may have number stamps on the breech end of the barrel but no 'made in' markings. Also, the 'regm'tl' engraving is the wrong style and wording for an original. Sorry!
