    Group of medals all named

I picked up this grouping, all the medals are named to one guy. Except the st George imperial Russian one, but there is numbers on it so probably can be tracked to this soldier. I saw before list of names of soldiers given this medals by Russians and the markings on medals represent that. I never had British medals before so any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you
    Regards RD

Both the MSM and the Order of St. George 4th Class should be gazetted so you most likely you can find when he received them byt look for his name and service no

                  Really nice group

                    South Staffordshire regiment
                    18638 Arthur Higginson

                    7th (Service) Battalion
Formed at Lichfield in August 1914 as part of K1 and became part of 33rd Brigade in 11th (Northern) Division. Moved initially to Grantham. Moved to Frensham in April 1915.
Sailed from Liverpool in early July 1915 for Gallipoli, landing at Suvla Bay 7 August 1915.
Evacuated from Gallipoli December 1915, moved to Egypt via Imbros.

What I found he was probably in 7th battalion

                      Little more info

P.S. You have a very rare set of medals who served with the White Russians. He was an instructor at the light trench mortar school in S. Russia for 1 year and 149 days. His M.S.M is awarded for 'devotion to to duty in the field' in South Russia. Awarded 28 OCT 1920. He also receieved an commendation from the Secretary of War in England.

                      Thank you
