    Clarks Boots

    Hi,

    I need more information about this Clarks boots.

    It is military?

    Any help will be welcome!

    Clark's were the inventors of the original 'desert boot', during WWII . Nathan Clartk, their inventor, died in 2011 at age 94.

    That said, these have the look of private purchase officer/s/gentelman's boots to me, not issue footwear. Reminiscent of the boots worn by our Canadian RCMP but not a match for any recent/modern officers' boots that I can think of.

        I thought it could be a pair of boots worn by Royal Engineers.

          With the broad arrow on them, you could be right, Mooyman. I'm not familiar with all the types of boots issued to British and Imperial forces but these are certainly different from the bog standard hobnailed Tommy boots.
