Can Anyone Date This Staffs Title Please?

Hi Chaps,

I picked this Staffords title up recently and was wondering if anyone could tell me when it dates from.

It is made of natural fibres and is very similar to a lot of wartime titles. I have seen the black mesh backing a lot in the past but usually on corps titles. The colours are the same as the war time unofficial but the wording and style are wrong. Just as the Border regiment continued to wear it's unofficial title post war I wondered was this style re-introduced by the Staffords at a later date or is this possibly a war time anomally.

Not too keen on the black gauze types.

But, SOUTH STAFFORD yellow on maroon CB 2746 sealed 21st November 1953, for all South Stafford Battalions less the 2nd Battalion.
