MKII liner original?

Gents,
I have a question about the liner of a MKII helmet. The helmet itself is maker marked JSS 1939.
The liner is not maker marked but looks original to the helmet. I can not find any markings on one of the liners fingers. My question is if this is common to these type of helmets. Thank you in advance...

There will be marks somewhere, even if they are very faint. Nothing wrong with that liner - a nice early MKI.

It should be there on the inside, JCS& W Ltd, are sometimes a bit hard to see. Just wet it gently and it should show up, but being a Mk1 it will be WW2 so no problem.
