Hi Everyone,
I have this Victorian Scottish Baskethilt sword in my collection and was wondering if anyone could tell me who made it? There are no makers marks on it, and the proof stamp only says "proved" and has a fleur de lis in it. The sword has a 4 digit seril number on the spine. With the exception of the cloth missing from the hilt it is in very nice shape. The doulbe fullered blade is engraved on both sides with Thistles and the QVR Cipher.
Thanks,
Keith
