Original Denison Smock?

Hi Guys,
I do not collect British or Commonwealth items, but I did luck into this Denison smock recently. I am curious if it is indeed an original smock and of WWII vintage. There are a few different tags in the armpit areas, the front, and on the inside of the left lower pocket. Hopefully these pictures help.

looks like a ww2 original 1st pattern smock with a post war zip added down the front , Looks like some one as fix the bum flap on the inside as it would normally hang free

The zipper was made by Ideal which is an American firm. This was used by a local reenactor years ago so maybe that is when the zipper was added and the flap pinned to the inside (only by a safety pin).
