Does anyone know why the edge of the mirror on this F. Duerr & Sons periscope is is dark? I was told it was to reduce reflection, or is the truth the fact that the mirror is a bit knackered?
Were they also produced during WWII? The case doesn't have any markings, do you think it is from the 1914/18 period?
