Hi Guys,

Can I get some comments on this patch. Is it wartime or postwar? I have very little knowledge on this unit. I remember seeing what was meant to be an original wartime mountain title before and it looked totally different. Did these guys only serve in Norway??

Hello Des,

Yes, it looks like a good one to me. I have seen these done in two different designs, this type and a type like the one pictured below (I know its Palestine but I have just used it to show what I mean) which uses an different and most probably earlier manufacturing technique.

I think the unit was formed near the end of the war and was used mostly in Norway.
