Can anyone identify this medal? Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have of it, and I don't have it in hand yet. The medal is blank, which I assume means that the reverse side of the medal is pictured, and that may help narrow down the possibilities. Any help is appreciated!

It was issued with any of a number of bars - I think maybe up to 6 in all. I've never understood why the reverse was blank - to leave room for naming or because they just ran out of ideas or money?
Not sure but I believe they are sometimes names on the edge in British style.Comment
