British paratroops in Sicily

I am doing a research on British paratroops in Sicily.
Please can anyone tell me how they were dressed during jumping and when they were landed?
Have someone any photos to post?

So is clear to see they wear tropical shirts and trousers, straight and shorts.
But also wore they the smoke?

They wore the normal tropical KD sets with the para helmet or beret.

Hi ... have a look in the books about the 1st Battalion the Border Regiment and the 2nd Battalion the South Stafforshire Regiment. Lots of photo's there about Operation Ladbroke and the equipment.
