Middlesex Regt Forage Cap

Just came back into my hands after around 10 yearsand im still trying to figure out the dateMy best guess would be Korea era but id like your opinions please. It does have that crap cap feel but the extended peak has me stumped

Well ive just been informed this is an RAF issued fatigue cap , apparently worn a lot by SAS members during the 50's Would anyone have any thoughts Ill keep going thru the net to try and find some info

Never seen one before but I really like it.

Certainly British army KD material of that era. Hope someone has some more info.

Not much on the net but i did find some pictures of a box of unissued examples that were 50's dated and appear to be RAF issue My example having a Middlesex cap badge doesnt faze me as i can imagine an army guy wishing to use such fatigue cap. Now to find if theres any info on SAS wear
