Help to ID WW1 British steel Helmet

I have this helmet which was given from a friend, can anyone out there help ID this, I know its British WW1 and it has a front seam.

any help will be much appreciated.

At the very least we need to see the liner and any stampings in the shell - dates, words, etc. Impossible to say anything useful about it from these shots except that it wasn't a Mk 1 [rimless] Brodie.

Hi There is no liner and I can't see any markings on the lid.
