      Since this topis comes up often, might I ask what clues/traits make them post '45? Not disagreeing at all, just curious. Thanks.

        The materials, thread and embroidery. Look on some of the trusted dealer websites and you can see the diffference. It take some time to get educated.

          These are all rather poor replicas, apart from the pips which happen to be the wrong colour for the parachute regiment.
          The irregular stitching on the airborne strips, Indian style canopy on the para wings are give aways.

            You don't have to be any sort of "expert" to look at these particular examples & ask yourself the question. . . .

              Thank you, gentlemen, for your answers. Welrod, I did have that thought, but wondered about details - such as the 'Indian style canopy' and so on. Most helpful.
