    Unknown badges, probably GB

    Hello,

I'm going through the last items in my grandfathers collection. The last things I found where a couple of old badges.

Could somebody help my in identifying these?

You have a mix of Dutch, English, Irish and Israeli.

      Hello Marc,

Correct me if I am wrong but I tried to find some reference online

The Yorkshire, Lancers and for king and country are English.

The wings is Dutch air force (However I could not identify what kind of badge precisely)

The others are a mystery, so Irish and Israel. Could I ask you for specific information on each badge?

      Greetings, tom

The Dutch Air Force I think is WWII, but the one in my little book is wire embroidered.
The small badge below that is for the Israel Defence Force.
The cloth badge is a Belgian rank collar badge, upside down.
The St George is a shoulder strap badge from the Dutch Cavalry.
The badge below that is Irish Army, not sure for what but I have seen a cloth version marked as Marksman.
The three you mention are indeed English.

Thanks Marc for the additional information, its been of great help.

Hopefully some more people can comment, perhaps on the time period of the badges. I also would like to know a fair value. I will probably sell these things.

Hi , the ''For King and Empire '' badge is a Silver War Badge , there should be a number on the back of the badge . If you can show the number the badge can be researched .

            Regards Steve.

The Dutch badge is a Royal Netherlands Air Force visor cap badge used in 50's until somewhere into the 70's. After these came the bullion types.
