A friend recently purchased a very nice piat with one inert 43 dated shell he would like to build a mock shell holder, the style with the three tubes banded together with the web carrying strap but is having difficulty finding any very good info showing this. If anyone has detail pics or at least a source of where some could be found it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Chris

Hi Chris, I don't have a PIAT bomb carrier, they are very hard to find, ( I too would like one for my PIAT round) but I do have some 3 inch mortar carriers. These are identical in the way they are constructed, from cardboard tubing with steel banding and wooden frame parts and a webbing carry handle. I don't have any photos done of these yet. It will be the middle of next week at the earliest before I can take some. If you don't get any pics before then I would be happy to do some for you and your friend?
