This is not normally my field but I saw this cheap and bought it. Shame the packet is so worn. Can anyone confirm if the packet is an original period piece.

But if your a die hard collector you will have e mercantile marine medal in the orginal white box of issue and the brown printed paper bag for the ribbon.
