British Para Helmet - Opinion and Education needed

I am interested in this WWII British paratrooper helmet offered on the e-stand. It is identified as a WWII helmet with post WWII Danish rework:

My question is, is it actually a WWII British Paratrooper shell, with the addition of two rivets on the sides and top? Is the liner correct? Obviously the paint and chin straps are not correct. Please add comments for my education as this is slightly out of my normal collecting area. Thank you!

Per the seller, the leather liner is not marked.

    Hi,

Repainted and it seems altered. To me it looks as a tanker helmet with a liner from a paratrooper helmet added. For comfort maybe?
As the Australians altered fibre-rimmed paratrooper helmets by replacing leather straps with canvas straps, and so drilling a third hole at the rear, maybe this was a practice done by
    the Danish forces?
But it is definitely not suitable as a paratrooper helmet with only this strap, so I would say a helmet for tanker, general purpose or just plain altered to maybe look like one.

I think it possibly is a British WW2 helmet, but is about as messed with as you can get!!

Indeed it may have either been a RAC helmet OR Airborne. However if you take into account that the liner is not genuine , the chinstrap is not genuine and the paint is not genuine and even the shell has been spoilt by drilling / rivets then what are you left with that is authentic ? - Nothing . It's a WW2 British helmet that was altered by the Danish post war, & as such is now an original Danish altered & used helmet.

Thank you for the comments...please keep them coming!
I understand that this has been post-war modified....but I would like some clarity on the comments made. I understand that there are several approaches going on here, so I will ask some specific questions:
            - Is the steel helmet shell a WWII British paratrooper helmet, WWII correct with two screw holes in the back and one on each side...but with post war modification done with two rivets added to each side and one in the top?
            - Is the leather liner with webbing suspension and foam WWII British paratrooper?
            - Is the rubber pad in the top of the helmet WWII or is that only a post WWII Danish modification?
            - Agreed statement: the paint is 100% post WWII.
            - Agreed statement: the chin strap is not correct for a WWII British paratrooper helmet.

The shell is a para shell, but has been heavily modified in the typical Danish style. The aluminium liner band and rubber pads are also para, but that is about it. The rivets and chinstrap bails are all Danish additions, as is the top pad and bolt ( using WW2 British parts ) .The leather part of the liner is also a Danish addition. They used surplus British Zuckerman liner leathers. The chinstrap is a Danish addition , again using British surplus.

A collectable Danish helmet, but worthless to a Brit para collector.
