What style of buttons -- Kings or Queens crown? It's somewhat of a gross indicator as the wartime KC buttons were used well past 1953 -- probably into the late 1950s/early 1960s. Again frustrating as someone could add wartime buttons to a postwar jacket; postwar buttons to a wartime jacket; or simply be a wartime or postwar jacket with the correct buttons present!
The wing has some issues for me -- but I'll preface my wing knowledge is limited to the handful of known wartime examples I have). The border around the embroidery is wider than I'm used to seeing (typically the borders are around 1/4" whereas this one is appears closer to 3/8").
