Is there a difference between wartime and post war warden patches?

Hi Tony,

Wartime patches are in a colour called 'old gold',while post war types are more of a yellow colour.
Although I have seen examples side by side and it still confuses me!!

I think that one is old gold,the post war ones seem to be a much brighter colour.
