    British Para Wings +

Hi, could anyone help me out with these please? Could they be WW11 issue?

The Pegasus formation signs are glued to a piece of card.

    Thanks,

    Allan

This is what I see but you will need others to comment as I'm not an expert on British Para Regiment insignia. That style (light blue lettering on maroon) Parachute Regiment tab was worn post war if it is real. I don't get a good feeling about this tab as the lettering seems a bit too large and the excessive return threading on the back. I might be wrong as I'm not an expert on these tabs so hopefully others will chime in. Regarding the Pegasus patches is that you need to see the reverse. If the back is white this is a bad sign and there should be a bleed over ghosting of the Pegasus which the copies do not have. The paratrooper wings are late WW2 but also worn post war. The top one is very abraded but I like the added what is referred to as Blanco on the parachute and shroud lines which was a practice to whiten soiled paratrooper wings.
