Here is an armband and bullion title I presume was used by Free Polish forces.

    Nice!

    Hi Garth,

Nice little lot. You are half right in your assumption about it being Free Polish. The title is indeed one that was used by the Poles fighting with the Western Allies but the armband isn't. It's supposed to be a Warsaw Uprising Partisan's armband. I say supposed to be because I can't guarantee it's originality without actually handling it. They were and still are reproduced. But I do get an initally good "vibe" from it. Any story with it?

    Cheers,
    Greg

The armband is not ww2 like Greg mentioned, but it isn't a typical “copy” either. These armbands were worn by SPK members in the US I have witnessed this personally, but I have no idea when they were made and if they were worn by all branches etc. My best guess would be 1980's.

        Ak

I was always lead to believe that the "AK" armbands issued during the Warsaw uprising were actually numbered inside .. and named !! (Possibly for security reasons ?)
