    Set of wings, WW2?

    Guys

this came out of a second hand shop up here. Looks fairly old framing etc and very specific group. What period are these and any ideas why someone would do this?

    Thanks

I'll give 'er a shot for ya:
Left Column: RCAF AG and E are reproductions, The RO is a Royal Air Force wing of more modern vintage (60s/70s)
Middle Column: N and B are Canadian Wings, RAF Pattern "Canadian Modified" authentic from the ww2 era, The WAG is an RAF wing falling under the same category as the RO wing.
Right Column: RAF Pilot wing could very well be a good one, without seeing detail it's hard to tell, the Australian Wing with the blue wreath is definitely a repro, and the O again falls into the category with the RO/WAG RAF wings.

    Hope that helps!

Looks as if some collector wanted to display a 'set' of air crew brevets and, I'd say, did a nice job in so far as the look goes. Pity the brevets are a mix or original and repro but perhaps his budget or patience didn't stretch to get all originals.
