I know next to nothing about this type of helmets. Is this a RAF fighter or bomber pilot/crew helmet?

Air Ministry Type C flight helmet. Looks to be in good overall condition. I can't see if the wiring is functional so will assume it is not in which case it is worth between 125 and 175 pounds. They were used by all pilots regardless of aircraft type, but are most commonly associated with fighter pilots.
