Collection of British(?) Cloth and Metal Wings

    Hello All,

British and Commonwealth are not my area. Picked these up recently and don't really know what I've got. Could someone run down for me what each of these represent and what era they are from?

    Thank you!

    Eric

You're asking for details on almost twenty items, Eric. The wings - 'RAF' - are pilots wings. The half wings are for Air Gunner [AG], Bomber [N], Navigator [N], Observer [O] and a couple more. The metal albatross are cap badges. As for exact dating and values, I'm afraid I can't help.

Re. halfwings, from the pics shown, the only I really like is the last one. Though a couple of the padded type stand a chance.

                    Thanks, Peter and Pete.

I appreciate the assistance and comments. The display looks pretty nice together. I'll include some more pics of the observer.

                    Regards,

                    Eric
