    Could you help me to get some info about a service number prefix and name
    Number CH•100788

    The service No. 100788, would be for the royal army service corps.

      The BD is for a 34 Royal marines amphibious regiment.. .would be correct?

          Prefix is CH-X, seems mean that enlisted for short time in 2 ww.
          Could be posible more info with the service number?

            Vic - if the serviceman survived the war, his records are still considered classified and probably only accessible to a direct descendant - not sure what the UK rules are on that. If he was killed, died or was a POW there is a little more info. available. Try the geneaology web sites.
