Recently picked up this lovely bullion patch to the Mobile Field Photographic Section. Any information on this unit would be greatly appreciated. I think they were in Europe after the end of the war.

If it's large size, about 3" - 4" square I'd think it's a blazer badge........... -

i think i would agree its a blazer badge if it is a large size, also..... ( im no doubt wrong ... but ) the design, ie the `cartoon ` type figure i dont think would have been allowed in a british unit ? but as you say ,if it is a semi official /un official unit going round europe at the wars end under their own command any thing is possible / may be Marc can help , please keep us posted
