The new age. Lots of info on medals and citations. Even has info on a Canadian who won the Medal of Honor. In printed format would easily cover 8,000 pages Great CD by John Blatherwick & Hugh Halliday.

I've just ordered mine too. Mr. Halliday, one of the authors, is a member of a British Medals forum that is run by MerchantSeaman (Pete). His contributions are always quite interesting but I had no idea that he'd helped compile this. Should be quite useful if the sample data provided is anything to go by.

Although I find the presentation somewhat amateurish, and the search function is not at all effective except to scan the page you are on, the information contained on the CD is immense, it is a invaluable resource for researching Canadian awards. I use it frequently...it's a powerful tool especially combined with other electronic medal rolls!
