    Hello Darren,

Sorry to hear your story. Maybe it is a good idea to buy the new british airborne insigna book. It is fulltime of detail pictures and information. Maybe it will help you buyin insigna.

Www.britishbadgeforum.com is only on british insigna's, they have been very helpfull to me on information.

    Good luck

Agreed - the British Badge Forum chaps are very helpful and very knowledgeable. That said, as I suggested earlier, if you get as much knowledge as you can before you invest, you'll be happier with what you do buy and less likely to be sold a pup as well. Good luck with your collecting!

As an old time collector, I would recommend avoiding Airborne nowadays. I find much more satisfaction in the regular old Line.
British or US Airborne is as hazardous as SS (or very nearly so) and I would surely hope that you never suffer such losses again!
There is so much more to collect out there without taking such risks.

Education is the key. It is better to know before you buy. British airborne is a fascinating topic and I wish there were more collectors.

There is another dealer in the UK that has a nice selection of wings and other insignia, all look original. I didn't bookmark his site but will try to find it for you.
