ID help needed on a mine found on Scottish beach

Hi,
I recently found what I think is an anti tank mine on a beach in north eastern Scotland. Nearby are lots of concrete anti tank blocks and the occasional pill box. I am curious about the attached chain as well.

Can anyone identify the type of mine it may be?
Any formation gratefully received.

Hmm pics not large enough to have any detail.

I doubt it is an AT mine most likely just an improvised anchor for something and or the remains of a buoy/boom of some form.

And a good thing! Taff, do you have any idea how dangerous 75 year old explosives which have been buried in a beach would be? handling such things is NOT a good way to get your name in the local paper!
