    Lachrymatory Tin 1940, id better get some help!

    Before trying to sell this full tin id better get some helpEvery time i put the word Lachrymatory in google it comes up with poison gas, blister agent, chemical weapon This full tin came together with a small grouping of WW2 RAMC items, i know that the ampules here are most probably intended to counter the effects but had better get some advice from fellow members

      Yikes
      I think those are tear-gas ampules, used for training.

      I doubt they are still viable after 75+ years but could turn into something even more nasty

          Definately tear gas type stuff. Certainly illegal to own in the UK

            Thanks for the replies it would appear , as mentioned, for use during training, ive just found some interesting items on the net about tear gas training during the late 30's early 40's were ARP, Police, civilian and even school childern were given a chance to test there gas masks in ''Gas Chambers'' and ''Gas Vans'' under battle conditions. Im positive all the capsules are not viable but will not be selling via my website as im going to have to make sure the new owner is not a ''numpty'' so to say.
