India General Service medal 1908 could have one of three obverses: Edward VII 1908-1910, George V Kaiser-i-hind 1910-1930 and George V indiae imp 1930-1935. There were to types of suspenders one done by the Royal mint, one by the Calcutta mint. The medal could be awarded to British Army troop, the RAF and Indian regiments. The RAF being the most desirable. Multiple bars could be awarded. A very rough average for Army medals would be 40-120 quid, RAF 100-200 quid and Indian units 25-50 quid, highly variable due to the number of bars, rank, unit, etc.
Notable exceptions IGS w/bar Abor 1911-12 in bronze 250-300 and an RAF medal with bar Wariristan 1925 600-800.
That's a quick and dirty, the MYB covers this with illustration, #164 pg.160

As with most British issues, this medal has already been covered on the forum, albeit before we got our 'own' hang out! They are pretty, plentiful, and... affordable! Which is more than can be said for other specimens.
