    Royal Fusiliers 28th,40th & 42nd Btns.

Is anyone able to post some pictures, especially the rear of a genuine Royal Fusiliers 28th, 40th & 42nd 'Jewish' Btns. badge, or if possible tell me whether they ought to be die stamped, cast or have loops or a slider?
    Many Thanks
    Keith

Sorry they are sold, so I can't post Pics, but I had them only with Sliders and no lugs. Ihad them all stamped.

      Hi Keith
According to a little book I have by Keith Rawlings, this badge is shown as Brass, Bronze and cast. The Kipling and King refers to it as Gilding metal and bronze. Sorry cannot advise on fixings. I do have this badge but cannot 100% say it is original as it is the only one I have seen. If you want me to post a pic please advise.

        Nicholas & Andy,

Thanks for your help regarding this badge. Attached is the reason for posting the original question. I got this badge last week and doubted it's originality, but I liked the look and colour of the slider with the bend in the right place. Obviously this is easily faked but it's quite robust. The casting was my main doubt for rejecting it as genuine but I already had a die stamped restrike with a whopping great fat slider. This will do as a gap filler for the time being.
