No, the Duke of Wellington's Regiment would be named as the West Riding - or W RID. This is most likely the 2nd Battalion of the Dorsets. Unusual for it to be abbreviated like that though. Are you sure it's an 'O'? It might be 2DG, in which case it's the Queen's Bays.
