The nience of the veteran brought these in for me to purchase over the weekend, im having trouble working out his unit am i right in beliving he was part of 53 Welsh Infantry Division Cheers for the replies

Yes third brigade of 53rd welsh div, up to oct 43 it was 159th brigade with 3rd Bn Mons regiment and after that date it was 160th brigade with 2nd Bn Mons Regiment. Probably the latter as this type of embroidered insignia is post Holland so autumn 44 onward.
