Only a guess but might the 'C' stand for Civil Defence? pretty sure its not a military unit as such.

The last one is an Mk2 HSRAC made early 1945 & post war, it has lost it's rivet to fix the liner, & been replaced by an nut & bolt. Either due to the rivet breaking or to enhance the price, as Mk1 HSRAC fetch a lot more.
Unless that is not an counter sunk in the picture where the nut & bolt is.

The first helmet is def not RAMC, but the para helmet does bear an RAMC DZ flash (which appears period).

The colors are the same of 16 CLOSE SUPPORT MEDICAL REGIMENT RAMC TRF DZ FLASH BADGE today...


16 Close Support Medical Regiment RAMC was formed in 1999 from the amalgamation of 19 Airmobile Field Ambulance and 23 Parachute Field Ambulance.

They have been involved in every major operation since World War II and the new Regiment has already seen operational service in Sierra Leone, Bosnia and Kosovo.

The Regiment provides dedicated medical support to 16 Air Assault Brigade and will be called upon to support the complete spectrum of air assault operations, this will include airmobile and parachute deployments.
