Mike is quite correct. Sadly, the vast majority of British WWII medals were issued unamed, as opposed to earlier conflicts. So, we'll never know the recipient of this nice group.
Indian Army WWII medals were usually named , however. I had a 5th Gurkha Rifles Burma group named, and I just picked up a group to th Poona Horse, also named.
Some soldiers did get their medals engraved privately, often at Boot's Chemists.
