Looks like he has already lost his job from the impression I get from the interview with his employer. The employer commented on the loss of integrity. This even went as far as dressing up for his wedding in this get up. Really sad when you think about it. His wife is another thing did she know he was a fake? and if she did shows just bad she was to go along with it

If he's a good employee otherwise, why lose his job? If this is in part - due to depression, that's not going to help.

And who knows what his wife knows? We can't speculate. However, what is she supposed to do?

Discipline him. Teach him why it's wrong and have him do community service for Veterans Affairs.

Again...to be clear. I am not defending what he did. That was wrong. But I am looking at an effective and fair consequence.

I agree that lose of job is pretty harsh, for a guy who at the very least has real esteem issues and may well have more serious psychological problems including perhaps depression. No excuse at all for the behaviour and he does need a smack - metaphorically speaking - but other than outraged vets and the rest of us, was anyone really hurt?

I was reading online last night that he has been charged with at least two charges but from reading the article it sounded moe like four charges, and has been released on bail
