Bellerophon with a bow and arrow?

Ok, don't laugh

What the hell is this? I think it could be an Indian Airborne Division slouch hat badge but I really don't know!! Why has Bellerophon got a bow and arrow instead of a spear? Or even could it be another Greek legend?
Any ideas?

Reverse! It might even be another non-airborne unit but the blue/red makes me think not?

Hiya ,
This sign was used by the INDIAN - INDIAN AIRBORNE ( hope that makes sence ) in the late 1940s /1950s , it comes in the usual far east manufactured styles including printed and wire woven , regards ,Michael.
