Britain's Military Toys - Gurkhas and Cavalry

I am not sure where to ask about these!

We bought these in a box lot at an auction these weekend.

I was able to figure out that the soldiers were Gurkhas (#197)...I have all 8 but one is missing his head (anyone know how to glue it back on?) and the other is missing his rifle (but I have the piece as well, so I could also glue it back on if that's possible).

The horse and rider are a separate item?

I don't imagine, as is, they have much value...but anyone know what they're worth? Just part of the learning curve! Thanks all!

    No military toy collectors?

    Well...I found it interesting regardless...and I now know more than I did...so I'm a happy camper!

I'm still working on the horse and rider...

Try searching on ebay for them, the prices of these old army soldiers can be quite surprising.

I would say the same: they may be valuable. Check under 'Britain's'. Some of the sets are no worth hundred's of pounds and the Gurkha set sounds interesting and salable.

...I did look...and it seems that they range from $20 -100...

...and with my two 'injured' soldiers...I'm probably closer to the $20 range...

I still haven't found my Cavalry piece though...
