This has been in my collection many years but I have changed direction and will be selling all my Armoured helmets on the E STAND .This mk1 helmet is named to a trooper in the RAC who died at the age of 21 and is buried at ST. MANVIEU cemetery. The cemetery was started in June 1944, and reflects the fighting that took place west of Caen, most notably the Battle for Tilly-sur-Seulles, and Operations EPSOM and JUPITER. Some of those fell in the attacks on Hill 112 are also buried here.
