RAF Squadron 911

Hi guys,
I have received my grandfathers service records from the RAF and I was wondering if anyone knows what Squadron 911 did ,and where it was stationed.
I have tried Google but it only comes up with RAAF balloon squadron, is this the right squadron?
Also, he was hospitalised for a lengthy spell, but no reason is given, is there any way to get his medical records and find out what happened to him ?

Yes 911 was an AAF Barrage Balloon Squadron, as a side note the inital commander of this unit was Norman (Billy) Mawle a WWI ace with 12 kills.
