I would appreciate some help or opinions on this beret.I would like to know what era the cap badge is or even if it is good or not.I find the beret puzzling because it has no air vents.

For anyone interested i did post this on another forum were i discovered it was a modern postwar beret.Any pointers on date of the beret insignia would be nice.
In anyone's opinion could it be a older cap badge put tougether with a more modern beret?.
