Ideas of date or origin please am told the green canvas is earlier thanthe ta / khaki ?

Not issue kit as far as I understand just part of the camp kit a young officer would purchase from a gentlemans / military camping outfitters.

Any comments please ?

private purchase for sure. Hard to say whether its WWI or WWII but I suspect Two, just from the general look: colour and weight of material in particular. I would have expected the WWI version to be in a brown rather than green.

I could be wrong though - the buckles are odd and might be a significant clue. Very nice, either way.
