WWI aerial bomb?

Hello,

I think I bought an aerial (drill) bomb from WWI but don't know anything about them. I don't even know if it is British.

Do any of you know which type of bomb this is, if it is from WWI and do you think it would be worth chucking a bit of paint on it (I'll probably leave it as it is)?

Would this have been dropped by any aeroplane?

There are some stampings on it but all I can make out is:

F 1 C

10 L b 1

CP 17

I think it is later, I used to have one in practice bomb colours, could never figure out what it was. Maybe 20s or 30s? They were used by the SAAF as well... cant say when.
